Automotive Distributing Company Plans Corporate Expansion

With the help of the Scranton Plan, Automotive Distributing Company, LLC, plans a corporate expansion from Tunkhannock to Scott Township and expects to add more than 60 new employees.

Automotive Distributing Company, an automotive accessories wholesaler in business since 1968, will relocate from 189 East Tioga St., Tunkhannock, to the former Herff Jones Building in Scott Twp. with its existing 21 employees. The company plans to add an additional 61 employees over the next several years.

The new Automotive Distributing Company location is a 81,204 square-foot facility in the Scott Technology Park developed by SLIBCO; other park tenants include Calvert Labs, Ease Diagnostics and Process Technologies. The Scranton Plan worked in conjunction with Ellen Raineri of Hinerfeld Commercial Real Estate to make the corporate expansion possible.
