USA Today recently published an article about Scranton’s increasingly popular Office Fan Tours.

Fans of NBC’s hit comedy set in Scranton are coming to the Electric City for sightseeing trips around the local landmarks made famous by The Office including the Penn Paper building and the Scranton Welcomes You sign featured in the opening credits.

“(The Office) has had a great impact on tourism in the region. If people didn’t know where Scranton was before, they know it now.” – Tracy Barone, head of the Lackawanna County Convention & Visitors Bureau.

Office Fan Tours run the second Saturday of each month through Dec. 12, starting at the Mall at Steamtown. Cost ($35 for age 21 and older and $25 for under 21) includes lunch and transportation. For more information, call 800-229-3526.
