“Upon graduating college in 1991, I began my career in the Admissions office at the University of Scranton. I spent a majority of my time traveling to every major city in the Northeast recruiting students to come to college in Scranton. After completing a Master’s degree, my wife and I could’ve picked up and moved anywhere in the country but we decided to stay here because we enjoy the four seasons, it is a safe place to raise a family, there is a quality educational system and if we want to go to New York City and Philadelphia, it’s an easy day trip. Now more than 10 years later, my kids are having a blast growing up in Northeastern Pennsylvania. They’ve seen headline acts such as the American Idol Tour and Kelly Clarkson, enjoy winter activities like snow tubing, attend triple-A baseball games in the summer and are learning to play golf on great golf courses. In 1995, we made an excellent decision to stay and raise our kids in Northeastern Pennsylvania.”
