![]() ![]() Name: Philip Barket Profiles: Philip Barket“In all honesty I hadn’t intended to stay, it sort of just happened. I worked for five years in Wilkes-Barre as a graphic designer while living and spending my free time in Dunmore/Scranton and then eventually the borough of Wyoming all the while trying to decide where I really wanted to be. In the Wilkes-Barre area, I had my hands in a few projects that echoed towards making our area a better place (or at least their area), yet I was never truly aware of the progress Scranton was making in the same vein. In discussions with a friend over the last year or two we would compare the differences and similarities of what I had seen and was doing for them towards what was happening here and it gave me a new perspective on the Greater Scranton area. It felt like a new era was about to begin. Now with my return to Scranton, a new job in the city and thoughts of things to come, I find myself growing more and more excited every day and with every new development I see.”
